A small history
The name ‘banner’ is based on the Latin word ‘banderia’, which simply means ‘creating a fashionable flag’. The knights in the Roman time already carried banners, but they were not made of vinyl….yet!
In the 1920’s, vinyl was invented by accident while a rubber scientist made a mistake in some process he was working on. And this mistake is now known as PVC (or Poly-Vinyl-Chloride). Lettered: When you need only one or two banners with only text, than a vinyl lettered banner good be a good choice. But even then, the digitally printed vinyl banners give you most likely more flexibility in design for the same price.
Digitally printed: The ultimate way of producing a vinyl banner or sign is to print it. The maximum size for printing is unbelievable. Up to 60” wide by any length! And what about the speed? Up to 150 m2 per hour!
Print a banner is a very flexible method of producing a vinyl banner and signs, because it is always done in full-color. So you can use text in color, using shadows or whatever you want. Using images in your design, or backgrounds. Again: the sky is the limit!
